Our purpose
Organize the democratic center-right inside the Republican Party.
The Democratic Union Caucus was launched to pursue a specific institutional goal: formal recognition for right-wing caucuses within Republican Party organizations across the United States. Political tendencies should be able to organize openly, democratically, and permanently inside the party.

The International Democracy Union.
The Democratic Union Caucus identifies the International Democracy Union as its international reference point. IDU brings together center-right political parties from around the world to exchange ideas, build relationships, share organizational experience, and cooperate around democratic institutions and freedom.
That global network provides a useful model for understanding the Republican Party as part of a much larger family of democratic and center-right traditions.
